Yeah... I'm considering starting this. My main question is whether they've actually backed up the claims of hormone manipulation with actual bloodwork done on people doing the diet itself.

I actually saw this before starting but decided to ignore it. Here's hoping I don't die.

Also, just to reinforce something people were getting at (particularly re: Asriel's experience):

-Di Pasquale's Anabolic Diet (Chapter 3, "Endurance Effects")

    And re: Chimaira's:

I'm reading through Anabolic Diet right now, and one thing di Pasquale mentions is this:

So I guess it's a bit late, but I don't suppose you got that stuff done?

I kept several around as motivation. Something about seeing some of the ones I got compliments on on a regular basis serves as a little daily motivator.

That's why I prepare as much as I can early on in the week. After a while you sort of establish a rhythm to the week and everything gets a lot easier. All my veggies are ready to roll on Sunday and my bacon, burger patties I cook up for three days at a time since it reheats so easily. Come meal time everything cooks up in real short order. There are also decent low carb stews and such you can fix that can be made in batches that cook up really quick.

Some low GI carbs before midday on training days shouldn't be a problem mate.

But if you're gonna give this diet a go then good luck and let us know how it goes.

Hmmm, this actually looks pretty interesting. For the last five months or so I've been generally feeling quite tired/sluggish/apathetic. I've also been eating lots of carbs (I do mean lots) mainly due to convenience. It's the easiest thing in the world to whip up a quick bowl of oatmeal or snack on an apple or banana. I'm also interested in losing weight without losing too much strength. After this weekend I think I'll give this diet a tryout for a month or so and see if it makes a difference.
