Yeah, ones in Japan. But here it is a cultural thing. We shake hands at the beginning and end of a roll and only bow out to the instructor after drill and after sparring.Comment

We line up and shake hands after class, and shake hands before and after rolling, but no bowing here. Although we train in a karate school, so we have swords, sparing gear, pictures of karate guys, those sticks you beat your hands into, and and japaneese looking stuff all over.Comment
