If you do a search for Phil Elmore on here, the thread would've been named, "Who hasn't been banned..." It's become sort of a parody around here, of how many bullshit forums you can be banned from...Ashida Kim's, Phil's, etc.
I know a decent amount of English people, some who you'd never could tell was English, others who couldn't hide it if it killed them. I See nothing wrong with it.
English, is in fact based on Latin, so neither the English or Americans "invented" it.

English is not a 'romance' language, and is actually considered to be germanic.
Near as I can tell, the only people that have not been Banned from PB yet are Meex, Ron Harbers, and myself. Key word is 'yet'.
Judoguy/sportfighter, your posts are horrific. I don't care where you are from, or what language is native to you, but I am a native english speaker and reading your posts give me a headache. Hit enter a few times. Try writing more words out. "who" rather than "wo", and "isn't" rather than "int". If you want to profess native mastery of the language by way of british invention, you should display some.
While this doesn't excuse Randdha's ethnocentricity, you may want to learn to communicate a little more clearly. It'll do you a lot of good.

Re English as a language.
Primarily a Germanic language (from Angles and Saxons who invaded England in Dark ages) with tiny amount of Nordic language (again "germanic") introduced by Vikings in later dark ages (most notably in placenames apparently). Then the Normans invaded (1066. Again these were decendants of Vikings but had lived in France long enough to adopt French (a "latin" language). New words subsequent to 1066 were "french" so English became a mix of Germanic (general words and structure) and Latin (many words). Over time spelling/pronuciation evolved away from the root germanic/latin words. Apparently....

The only thing that could get me banned would be for all the christians to lobby for my extermination. Then Phil doesn't believe all that crap anyway. He just tolerates it. :protest:

Just read that post and there were a shit load of typos in it from me typing too fasdt and not bothering to proof read it. Apart from that I was bringing my post down to their level of intelligence
Don't forget, English has some Latin etymology as well from when the Romans invaded. As the Vikings moved from North to South but failed to completely conquer England (thanks to Alfred the Great and his descendants keeping Wessex from their grasp) which is why the country is called England and not Norseland, or sometihing like that. As Wessex (now known as The South) was the area of England the Vikings never really fully conquered, you'll find that it is the area with the least place names that are Viking. The Englsi hthemeselves are actually Germanic (or used to be, though there are so many different cultures in this country now I don't think this a pureblood anglosaxon left, with the original Britons now In Wales. They call England, Lloegyr (The Lost Lands).
So I have a bit of knowledge as regards England and the English language. To be fair though I'm more of a historian than an language expert.

I actually wasn't affiliated wit this site when I put that up; it was just a personal rant. However, in that thread there was a link to the "I left Wing Chun, feel pity for me" thread on E-budo and i saw one of Phrost's posts there about how he moderates compared to Phil. I decided Phrost's moderation techniques were better so decided to mention that as a rant against Phil's moderation techniques.

All I'm saying is, when you're mentioning another site by name in a positive light, try to be a good advertisement for us. If you look at what you posted, are you proud of the language you used? It doesn't compare well with your other posts. I guess what I'm saying is that not posting angry is a little like not posting drunk.
