Check out the Lighthouse web site for some hilarity this morning. Look who replaced AG. Ha. Guess they are hard up for VPs and Ps. Like in the old Tim Burton Batman, 'Who can ya trust?' Looks like MBF is now Pres of JSW (on his linkedin). Check their names in linkedin. Very interesting how the chain of command is literally comprised of the remaining sycophants. All that can be said is we trained under MBF, WH and SHS not TYK. She should be jealous of them because they taught us. Ha. But still they were 'just folloowin' orders'. Ha. Like some of ya said, they're going to have tghe short end of the deal when TYYK eventually passes on and leaves all the woes (and botched finances apparently, and legal and tax issues) to them. They will have little choice but to sell the mansion and rent out any remaining property, and to give JSW over to JP or one of the young people, and head for the hills. What they need now is a lovely hatchet job on some public access cable tabloid. Someone like that needs to go in the guiase of interviewing the all powerful TYK only to discover she is off her melon, and then decide to spin it to the obvious other angle. And no, I do not have any connections to tabloids. Sorry.

This happened before. Inside Edition did just that in 1998. For a long time the segment was available on YouTube, but then the minions succeeded in taking it down. Now if you try to go to it you get a message about it being property of ABC or something. I don't think it was really ABC that objected.

At about the same time a local TV reporter was going to do an expose, but some of TYK's Korean friends staged a protest calling the TV station racist and the brand new station manager caved.

Other interviewers over the years have caught on. At about the time I started JSW training in 1989 some reporter called her "controversial" and questioned her grandmaster title. I didn't find out about this article until a few years later.

None of these did or would have done anything more than scratch the surface.

TYK has been keeping a lower profile in recent years, so I don't think an expose in the mainstream press is going to happen unless she does something especially stupid.

Meanwhile, these Bullshido threads are discouraging some would-be JSW students. I think the collection of personal stories here is actually more effective than a hyped-up expose. Unlike the paparazzi, we weren't looking for the BS. It was thrown at us during the course of our training.

You are quite correct. She is smart to keep her head down. The press is far less likely, these days, to take anything at face value. So, if she goes out calling herself a Dr., or Grandmaster, Or Dame Commadatrice, ect., the press would mercilessly flay her for being a big social climbing, face-lifted phony.

It must be hell for her these days. She so much wants to flaunt her purchased titles to the world, but if she does, she will expose herself for what she is. The fact that her credentials can't bear up to any scrutiny should be a warning sign to the dwindling number of followers.

Another reason she abuses her students is to test their loyalty, which she feels she can never trust completely. Think about the people you're loyal to who aren't related to you and don't pay you. Why are you loyal? It's because you simply like them, or love them. Kimmie doesn't think she can be loved just for who she is. She thinks she has to perform miracles to be loved. She sees that her students expect miracles, and that the students who cease to believe in her miraculous powers leave. She senses the self-interest under their slavish shows of devotion, and even though she brought it on with all her promises, she resents it.

As was stated, TYK's world is shrinking...and like some rich eccentrics who end up living their lives in a decaying mansion surrounded by memories and past glories, I believe this may come to pass here also.
I can't feel any pity for her, and as I reviewed those new videos on the JSW website, it struck me that it was all about praise for TYK, and it was unconvincing to me. Her followers are empty robotic beings.
I also was shocked at the change in appearance of MBF and SHS. I know people age, but their skin tone is unhealthy, they have bags under their eyes, and even their eyes themselves appear sunken, unfocused and dead. Even JP has that look about him..eyes staring ahead, expressionless.
I wonder what prompted TYK to go to Istanbul...other than a probable shopping spree.

After watching that video, I felt so embarrassed for them. I hope it gets all the exposure it deserves. Heck... maybe we should forward it onto the TV stations for them.... as it makes such an impression.

Kimmie won't get far with the Imams or any male Muslim. Check the video where she tries to shake some guys hand...he reluctantly did so. She's not going to break through the barriers of Islam when it comes to a woman teaching a man.

It is a form of circular logic... she has in important message, and it is important because she is saying it, and it is important because she thinks it is, but you never hear anything other than the silly New-Age cotton-candy platitudes. If you were to ask the COL'ons what the big deal is, all they can do is gush about how awesome kimpers is. So.... Where's the beef?

Greetings all:
I just had one of my bizarre JSW dreams this morning. In it, I went into a store where it was like a coffee shop bookstore and there ere JSW people there, probably selling some of TYK's stuff in a corner with garish abandon. Then KMC was in it and he scowled because I had not trained for years. I went to a table like setting, where a shop counter was, and wanted to buy some books, but AT was there, being incognito, and she scolded me for two things, while preparing to ring up my order of a non related Star Trek book. 'You knew it was a cult and you were a black belt with responsibilities and made no attempt to pull me out of there', and another opposite seeming thing, 'you have the balls to walk in here now and act nice to me in front of them, blowing my cover'. This was a dream so it was kind of weird. Anyway, next to me was a current unknown student who egged me on that ' was just there to pick up on this cashier and not interested in buying anything'. When I attempted to explain that I was not, that I knew the girl's mom and we were all black belts, and she was like born there practically, he wasn't phased, and she got a little madder, but even so sold me the book, and two necklaces, and a song CD. The current student also got mad because he thought it all a ruse and 'if you were like a father figure to the Yong Sa kids' why didn't you stop it'? I replied that I didn't have that kind of power as a black belt, and was just as 'immature and lost and misdirected' as everyone else until I saw the light, around 2005 or so. For two years everyone got weirder and current students were leaving, and I did made a difference for them. I was sorry I wasn't able to 'rescue AT's mom from the cult', or whatever. Isn't that just weird? I wasn't but a part time COL, and if I had made waves like that, I would have easily been TYK's enemy. It made much more diplomatic sense to have a low profile and walk out with a cordial goodbye when things went south in 2007. I tried to explain this in the dream, while the current students were fuming. 'Love thy enemy and love thy neighbor' I noted there, and I purchased the items, and the CD was left behind as I left.

The dream begs the question, as many of us were instructors, what really could we have done but have run out when the going got weird?

Even if I had said something, I likely would have been ridiculed or something. Or worse. But we're here now!
