The JSW website is beginning to look a bit tacky - they keep throwing more and more stuff on it, and there's no organization at all. I am a webmaster, and I would be embarrassed to have this kind of a site.

It seems they've been TRYING to clean up the JSW website, but here's what you should do, JSW webmaster. You have a menu on the top - why not put all those videos in one of the menu items...or make an additional menu item for videos - that way the site would look a bit cleaner. The ticket order thing should be a separate menu item also..keep the main part of the website for what JSW is all about - Oh heck, just send me your password and I'll do it for you.

It's been a while since I've posted. It seems that whenever I go on vacation a lot happens.
I'm wondering about the Facebook hacking. No one can change your info unless they have your password, which is why you want your password to be hard to guess. They can post crap on your page, but you can always delete it. You can also block specific people or make some or all of your info private, for friends only. If they post crap about you on their own page, there's nothing you can do unless they make the info public and allow comments. To really hack into Facebook without a password requires either a Facebook employee insider or very deep knowledge of the Internet software infrastructure. I doubt the culties have either.
The black belt testing situation sounds messed up and sad. I feel sorry for the testing students whose hard work is being so exploited. No matter how well the students do or how supportive the audience is, it's always all about Kimmie.Comment

Thank you to the person that sent me a private message re: the scan box.
I don't have a smart phone, just the basic one without all the bells and whistles. As a matter of fact, I finally got indoor plumbing just about two weeks ago..but as madame has stated in one of her articles a while back, the reason she left Vermont ( or as she called it, "maple syrup country" was that people up here didn't understand meditation ). I just want you to know we have numerous meditation centers throughout the state, so that's a piss poor excuse for leaving. Then again, we're happy to be rid of her.
Proteinshakez - TYK apparently has a few lawyers that would drag your ass into court so fast your head would spin if you tried to intimidate her. I do believe in karma, and will leave it to that system to decide her ultimate fate. As you see, throughout the world now, oppressed peoples are rising up against tyrants.

I don't know about Kimmie herself, because she rarely did anything on the floor other than forms, but her instructors are competent. In terms of the teaching of techniques, her school is actually better than most in the area, or it was when I was there. It wasn't unusual for us to do free sparring for up to two hours, stopping only briefly to change partners.
The problem lies elsewhere, in Kimmie's tactics of enticement and control and her "spiritual" mumbo jumbo. I've often thought that it's too bad Kimmie can't just settle for being the owner of a decent martial arts school. For some reason she feels compelled to play God.
I do not believe in starting a fight, ever. I only believe in reactive self-defense. This is consistent with the law. What we are doing here, exposing the truth to warn other prospective students, has been fairly effective, and aside from a major media expose, I can't think of anything more effective.
Kimmie's intimidation methods are surprisingly juvenile. Among those reported on this thread at various points have been slashing tires, recording conversations, throwing rocks through windows, and putting smear letters in neighbor's mailboxes. Separate from this thread I've also heard about posting defamatory websites and trashing unfirewalled computers. More serious are threatened lawsuits (these are illegal SLAPP suits, by the way). But the truth will out.Comment

Would she still never be able to walk properly again for the rest of her life EVEN if she won said court case? Yup :)
