    That was captivating, thanks for for posting the article. I hadn't followed Tanner's life up until his death and so I'd never heard the phrase "Believe in the Power of One", but the idea speaks strongly to me.

          I watched the David Lousesausuiusa fight against Evan Tanner.

          Tanner was kind of a dick in that fight.

              Wait, I thought the spiritual dimension of martial arts was a bunch of bullshit and it was all about hitting people in the face for fun!

              By far my favorite fighter for the reasons in that article. Admittedly, he was not much of an outdoors guy but he had balls the size of grapefruit.

                    he loved the outdoors... how was he not much of an outdoors guy? Granted he screwed up by trusting what turned out to be dated satellite photos, but the desert is also a lot less forgiving than a hike through the woods.
