I didn't ... does Shaq even study any Martial Art or just his 'Shaq Fu - style' from the same titled game on the SNES back in the day?

I love, when matches like this happen in MMA. Always fun to watch.

But if he loses, who will try to avenge him?

The good old SNES days! Apparently shaq spends his off-season training at Jonathan Burke’s Gracie Gym in Orlando.

            http://gracieorlando.com/

Shaq goes by his old nickname at the gym, "Diesel" And he says He’s been training with Burke for 10 years where he does the full gamut of MMA, boxing, jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai and wrestling.

                Should he win:

-The Shaq-Fu one-liners will be insufferable.

-ESPN will totally ignore his years of training in favor of "He's HUGE and that means he can fight!"

-I vote Shaq vs. Semmy Schilt next. See how quickly Diesel cumbles under a few good front kicks.

shaq apparently has been a dedicated mma fan for a long time. would like to see him try to cut to 265 (actually, i still don't understand the reason why that limit exists), but yea he'd kill HMC.

Yeah, Shaq trains and is a fan of the sport but I hope he gets jacked up a bit if he switches over to MMA. I'm a fan of basketball but something about him switching over to MMA after retiring from b-ball seems to imply that MMA is less stressful/difficult/legit than the more mainstream sports.

You're reading too much into it.

how is he supposed to do basketball and MMA, at the same time? He's waiting to do mma after he retires, because he needs to make his bread, naw mean?

                          I'd bet on Choi personally.

If Shaq can take him down, which shouldn't be too much of a feat for him, I could see him winning.

                            Otherwise, he's gonna get demolished.
