The first episode was... okay. Since we didn't actually get to see the big younger brother acting like a bully on camera, I think it made the finale somewhat anti-climactic. Yeah, it's fun to see a chubby rich bastard get beat up, but it didn't exactly feel like he was getting any sort of comeuppance. The older (smaller) brother also came off as less of a victim and more of a generic pussy, so I wasn't exactly rooting for him. I'm not saying the older brother didn't deserve some kind of payback for being bullied, it's just that I have trouble feeling sorry for a "poor little rich kid."

I did like Mayhem's hosting quite a bit, and the production values are decent. The show's got potential... I'll probably tune in for the next episode.

Yeah, jeezus, get out in the boonies or the ghetto where the kid being bullied is like a 5' tall asian math genius and he's being bullied by king fucking kong or something.

Who gives a shit about 2 kids in Orange County or wherever who don't have any real problems except for their ineffective parents.

Bah! I say both kids, AND their parents should have had to fight.

The first episode could not have been any worse. Jesus Christ that was lame.

I am more surprised to see former NFLer Michael Westbrook on the show.

New thread on the show so we can clean this up and talk about it now that it's actually aired. Let's keep the new one retard free (I'm looking at you, kungfu2u). Then, maybe we can attract some of the show's participants.

anyone think that a pro MMA fighter against some bully is overkill?

Then again, bullies probably deserve the worse. :D

From what planet are you from?

MMA will get the bad name regardless, from people who do not understand it as well as sore so-called TMAers who can't really cut it. It doesn't really matter what they think. This will be like caring if a retard call you names.

You live in a fucking fantasy that TMAs live in a code of honor or peace. For fucks sake, look at the history of the countries from where most so-called TMAs come from, Japan and China. Peace and honor and civility my ass. Your notion of what TMA stands for is just a novelty, a recent invention that has nothing to do with the historical context in which whatever art you do evolved.

I think it was Osiris who said that it takes a special type of asshole to brag about humility and respect. I would add delusional and clueless to that description.[COLOR="Silver"]
I agree most TMAs cliam to live by a code of honor and peace and respect but in actuality I've noticed most mma fighters have more respect for one another than most TMAs who in my experience are very high on themselves and hate to see anyone who can fight better than them especially if that person has not been practicing martial arts as long as them. My mcdojo is a fine example of that my instructors have hated me ever since I started finishing all the drills we do twice as fast as them and with better form and technique.

Does anyone else see a moral problem with training bullies to fight? Kinda like training gangbangers to shoot. Even if they get only a little bit better, you're just making someone elses day that much worse.

I agree, in fact I think we have taken the exact opposite course to what we should have done.

Back when boxing was taught in schools and every boy learned at least the basics by the time he was a teenager bullies got dealt with in a rather predictable fashion, people squared up, threw leather, went home. End of story.

It seems idyllic but I really think it's whats missing in most American schools, we as a society and largely as a people need to re-embrace violence. We need to teach our kids to fight in a controlled environment and go home. Too many kids, brought up on the mantra that violence is bad, simply do not have a way, and outlet, to handle aggression. Lacking this, they turn to extreme ends of the spectrum, see the school shootings in the past years.

Obviously it's not a catch all, but I would rather see my future children deal with the inevitable fights in a controlled environment and not see them deal with guns, knives, and the like.

I say we train those who are bullied, and then I would wager a fare sum the number of incidents of bullying would drop precipitously.

Anyone watch the 3rd episode? The bully on it was just a punk who picks on guys smaller then himself for an ego boost. Gets subbed 5x with things ranging from the gogo to neck cranks. Then takes body shots till he pukes. Awsome
