Whatever happened to "defense only?" This guy's going around looking for fights.
Fair point. I suppose the "fight fire with fire" philosophy being employed isn't exactly in sync with traditional values.

yeah i got bullied too in highschool.
maybe it was my awesome hair or my hip glasses, they were jealous ofcourse.
then i broke a guys ribs with an elbow strike and had to look for another school.
It taught me life's unfair and to be smarter.
    My dad was furious!
    Good times.

Looks like an awesome show, i hope it will air over here too!

Honestly, I've never been a huge fan of Mayhem, but I think this will be worth watching, if only to support the idea of the show.

I wonder if any of the bullies ever win, and whether any of the victims take up MMA themselves.

This is pretty cool, I was worried it was gonna be some Seagal-type shit.
However bullying is a serious problem that goes way beyond thugs, it's a predatory mentality that doesn't go away.

I got bullied as a kid. It took my brother to finally convince me to let loose on them.

    Reality shows,
Most are weak, but this looks fun.

yeah, you KNOW some of this is going to be scripted. I look forward, however, to the genuine short fuses. That one guy that said "we'll go right now" looked honest about it. I predict it will have its fair share of "directing" though.

edit: shin to plexus kick was awesome :icon_thum

That is awsome! Being bullied as a kid was one of the reasons I got into MA in the first place (which seems to be the case for a lot of folks here).

A reality show that might actually be worth watching.

Finally a reality show that may actually accomplish some good.

It wouldn't be as watchable, but a variation that trained the victims to eventually fight these bullies in the cage would be even better.

But not nearly as entertaining in the "main event" department.

ditto me as someone who started training because there HAD to be a better way to live than in fear and intimidation.

however, this show looks like an accident waiting to happen.

Like all nerdy wusses, the first thing I did when I started having a bully problem was research how to destroy them. I got Mas Oyama's "Mastering Karate" out of the library, joined my local rec league judo class and the rest is history.
How did you end up a Ninjer then? :P
