On 12/6/07 they showed Tommy knock out George after a poke in the eye by Tommy.

Man Tommy knocked George the fuck out I mean a KTFO.

I kinda wanted to see Danzit go against George. They are both very technical fighters, the match would have been alot more even.

Tommy is a strong country boy for sure.

Unfortunately, no, they aren't. The high-drama episodes are consistently the highest rated, and it's been that way since the first season.

Come to grips with this fact, guys. Yes, /we/ don't watch the show for the drama. Yes, /we/ would like to see more of the training and the fights. They don't care, because /we are not their target audience/. We'll watch their PPVs and fight shows regardless; they don't care about hooking us with TUF. TUF is for the casual fans, and they /do/ like the drama. Sorry, that's how it is.

I watched it again remembering that comment. I was actually quite shocked at that comment, I thought this show was about his team. Quite possible that the interviewers asked him 'what does this fight mean to Matt Hughes?'
Usually the cameraman / interviewer will ask the interviewee to restate the question at the beginning of the question. This could contribute to slightly odd wording and use of the third person.

    That wasn't Hughes though.

I hate to say it but this season it seems like the most religious people are also the craziest.

he's an awesome fighter....a living mma legend...BUT...comes across as self centered, self absorbed, condescending, and a little masterbatory in general. I generally like the quiet fighters, who fight loud...

in a coach there needs to be some give and take...and every time anyone on team Huges looses, he goes on about "the plan", and "what do I have to do?" and "I'm not getting through to you guys". How does that help them in their career? How about some reassurance?...it's a bad day when Matt Serra gives an opposing fighter more encouragement than his own coach...WTF?

plus the Queen Esther thing was the second most disturbing thing this season. Trailing only "Come to Jesus"....

I have a feeling, when Matt Hughes replied "How does Matt Hughes.." it had more to do with the way he was asked.

They may have asked him, and he replied "I think it's important for me as a coach" and then said, "no, how does MATT HUGHES feel.." so he does a bit of a smartalec thing and says.. "The way MATT HUGHES feels."

    That's the feel Granto got.

But then, I think Matt Hughes is pretty awesome so I'm completely biased.

How annoying is it that Matt loves to talk about himself in the third person?....I think Serra called it, He's a dick....a very talented one, but yeah...a bit of a dick.

It's a shame really, I lost a lot of respect for him hearing him all too often go on about himself, and how everything related to him, and his career, and him him him...what a load of shit....I seriously can't wait to see Serra and Huges go at it.....

I think they should have more than two ring girls. They should be more naked. The TUF guys should slug it out for the right to judge the contest. Now THAT'S MAN DRAMA.
