Warmachine did a lot of damage considering he was under Farmboy the whole time. I was surprised how messed up Farmboy looked in the post fight interview.
And Warmachine is a whiner who needs to get over that shit.

damn, I missed the episode....I wish there were a place I could watch the vids after the TV's off...a sort of....inter-webby thing.....one can dream.

I think the biggest factor in this season has been Matt Serra's coaching. His ringside advice is the best....that voice cuts right through....

I pick the Aussie to take it....he's got the focus to do it.

Indeed. Hooray for heart and all that, but the fight was the most sloppy this season (and probably for the last few).
That was also some of the most pathetic gnp I've seen.

Serra definitely appears to do a better job teaching and coaching and recognizes that his job isn't to always be on the mats but to watch and instruct.

I enjoyed the fight

War machine came out split Tommy's face open and had a RNC close to finishing him. Tommy fought it off and reversed it

Good dramatic first round

2nd he got killed but I was hopping he could reverse it.

I agree that the first round was all heart...I don't know why there wasn't ref stoppage...I know that Speer wasn't killing War, but War wasn't devending most of that 2 minutes. But in the second round Speer was on top for almost 4:50 and War wasn't protecting at all. That is why I didn't htink much of the fight. Should have had stoppage if not in the first, at least in the second.

War Machine was effectively defending just enough to keep going. The fact that he took sp much punishment and refused to tap and fought out of some kimura attempts made it exciting for me.

Not sating it was a technical fight or even that competitive after the first 3 minutes but both fighters fought hard and refused to quit

meh maybe it's just indicative of how crappy this season has been regarding the fights

why didn't farm boy just slide to a side mount and finish the kimura? I mean he was passing his guard easily all night like it was the Mexican border, yet he tried to finish it from mount?
