Basic kick you teach a novice,,front kick,,Segal most probs just showed him how to throw it properly...

Ohhhhh guy's Aikido dosn't have any kicks in it. I trian under direct former uchi deshi of sensei morihei ueshiba. He said directly to them that he purposefully took kicks out of Aikido because of the circular jujitsu based philosophy of the art. Aikido is budo not practical fighting application. Segal has developed a hybrid that dosn't follow Aikikai completely. These are some fun clips of one of the uchi deshi I train with. We dont live spare, but we beat the shit out of each other. To much fun :)
