If Anderson ever manages to land a Crane Kick on his next opponent I'll ready to declare him the new God of War.

But Silva didn't defeat Belfort by hitting him upside the head with a poll ball in a towel...

this is all very funny...and yes, all of those movies are classics. I too want to see Anderson Silva drunken boxing, or chun. OMFG would that set the intertubes on fire.

Maybe I'm just jaded, but it seems fishy to me how they edited that face kick. It almost looks like he couldn't kick that high so they used some editing and camera angles to give the illusion of Steve-o being able to kick above his waist.

Then again, maybe I'm just being a hater.

Someone did (I believe - at least I don't *think* it was about Wanderlei Silva) try to claim in a video that Anderson Silva was using the Chun in his fights, using freeze-frames to find all the Chun concepts...

I wish we had some posters who live in Brazil. All I can guess is that Seagal is still very very popular in Brazil so Silva and Machida "train" with him to get good press.

Feh. Someone victoriously debuts the first new martial arts move seen since the Gogoplata and you guys have to go and be all cynical and snarky about it... :evil6:

A front kick to the face isn't a new martial arts move.

Not just any front kick - a Super Front Kick. From Japan. From years ago. That is only now being revealed to the world.
