the difference was that silva's foot didn't deflect to the side this time. probably had more to do with the angle hendo was holding his head.

Bas Rutten has dissed Seagal on Twitter. People are debating whether Seagal could or should kick Bas's ass over this - and the majority seem to be coming down on the Seagull's side. Reading that thread, I'm finding it hard to determine who's trolling and who's being serious. Eek.

because silva didn't learn it from seagal, and seagal is saying that he invented the kick, which is a lie.

I don't think thats what either mean. Its like if I show you MY heel hook. I didn't invent the thing, but I've got a take on it. I'm sure thats whats meant. This is worse than the Nog tribute fight. He trained with Nog, Nog was insulted, he defeated the guy Nog style and everyone's wondering if he actually intended to fight like Nog. Really? The guy isn't trolling, he's doing martial arts. I'm hoping to see his take on drunken boxing as long as he's having fun.

Pure speculation on my part - but I reckon that maybe it actually went something along the lines of Seagal saying "Hey - I've been watching Belfort's fights on video and I think I've spotted a hole. Remember that kick we've been drilling? Throw it when he <does this> and the guy will never see it coming...".
