I ran across this looking at video of Duncan and to my surprise I found the real shit is in Israel! Anybody ever looked into this before..if so, sori for bringing up the past.

well, that wasn't a bad rendition of the old "watermelon on the belly" trick.

Thanks for posting this video and reminding me why I got away from it all.. It looks really cool, but its effectiveness in a real fight will always be debatable.

Anyway, hasn't all this ninjutsu junk been beaten to death by now?

If this is a big ceremony of a "secret order," why is there a camera crew filming it for TV?

All the patches makes him look more like a Ke?po dude. I tried a Google search for the "Grandmaster" guy and get nothing but that video.

EDIT: The grandmaster's name is misspelled in the video's description, it's "Van Vuuren" and not "Van Yuren". Plenty on Stoffel Van Vuuren here: http://www.blackdragon.co.za/content.../grandmasters/ . Looks like the video is just more BDFS bullshit.

David Haliva has his own thread:

              Ha NinJewTsu...That's effing funny.

The vid looks like a hodgepodge of martial arts...mostly jujitsu styles with a not so secret initiation at the end. Total Crap. I especially like where he has to rub off the negative chi to prevent from hurting the guy with his strikes. What a load of bull.

hell, the average "Sakki" test administered in the Bujinkan is better than this. The guy was making all kinds of noise, & did a half-assed swing, not even to the floor.

Looks like even more bullshit than the average "ninja" bullshit.

Be careful about mocking this, at 0:58 they make it very clear that "it is considered to be the most dangerous of all martial arts."

You really don't want these guys mad at you.

Santa Claus is a ninja? and with those badges a boy scout too? He's a good old boy, I'll leave him an extra cookie...

Obviously the guy in the red gi is for real. Not only did he manage to ninja that katana away from the Highlander, he's got all those ninja merit badges.

How much do you think I have to pay to learn the "poison hand" strike?

HEY gUYS!!!! Van Buren is the Black Dragon fraud monger who is in league with Ashida Kim.

Not that I would encourage but on the William Aquier thread there is plenty of stuff on Van Buren and Kim... Nuff said my momma raised me right and I REALLY do not have anything nice to say about the South AFrican Ninja.

All I know, if I was gonna go to Israel to look for good Ninja training, I'd start with Doron Navon or Moti Nativ. At least they have hella judo & hard krav combative training in addition to the Booj stuff.

don't know Moti but Doron is sublime. The fedencris stuff, the way he incorporates it with the Tai Jutsu is wonderful. He is a very gifted teacher.

If I could study under any two guys in the Buj it might be Doron and Obrien.

yeah, Mark's a friggin' monster. Doron was a judo badass before he ever did Bujinkan so he had a decent background, & the Feldenkrais method is great, I agree.
Sean Askew loves hard training too, he did Shooto for awhile & trained with Enson Inoue. Guys like that are the only guys worth training with if you really want to learn how to apply some of the actually decent Booj techniques, that is.
