In regards to the section of that website which discusses me, I will start by saying:

1) I did post that on youtube. Never denied it. Not sure where I was ever questioned about it's deletion. I can't find anywhere that happened. DanielABravo and I discussed his posts being deleted, but the subject of mine never came up. I did notice later that mine was deleted, but could not comment on youtube since that function was disabled. Regardless, my thoughts about the vid were posted here and elsewhere, so there was no need to make additional comments. Especially since on the BS thread, we were trying to keep discussion off the topic of the vid and on the allegations.

2) My comment was not "in support" of Simco, as it were. But, I did comment on the footage and my initial impression of it. In fact, I have said that I could not make a comment of more depth as I did not know the circumstances of the video. I also think it is funny how they claim that by deleting my post, the truth is hidden. Like I am the be all end all of opinions. My only problem has been not posting anonymously...it gives them a name to latch onto. There were many other posts on youtube similar to mine.

3) I would hardly say I "have been connected" with the Mike Wacker family (as ambiguous as that phrase is). This is laughable. I have literally only met Mike Wacker a handfull of times. He fought for us at the Battle of Brooklyn on three occassions. I have seen him at a two local grappling tournaments - the UMAN tourny and the last GQ US Nationals. And that is it. I have never been to his club and he has never been to mine. I have never spent time with his family (except maybe I briefly met them at one of the BOB shows after his fight). So, to say that I have connections with the Wacker family is really way out on a limb and total BS.

4) Regarding an "obsessive record" of Simco's personal life, LOL, I am not sure where that comes from. I don't know or have not posted about Simco's persoanl life. I really only have discussed the allegations, court case, and possible PJ, NYS Police connections to Simco on the forums. So, I may be a self proclaimed reporter, but obsessed with Simco's personal life, I am not. In fact, I have not thought about this stuff since we went to the arraignment...which as we know, was a very last minute decision for me. I had not planned on going at all until Sam was unable to make it.

And like Sam, I have tried to be very objective and fair minded here discussing the case.

The whole website seems desperate and sad. They should re-read this thread and really look at what Sam and I have been doing and saying...

It seems as if they are taking any posting about his situation as a personal attack on him, even if it is really nothing more than posting news and discussing whether or not it could be true.

In case that isn't pure sarcasm, and nobody saved a copy, Google's cache of the page has an older copy that mentions Sam's name (as well as sambosteve). You can search for gene simco the truth, and the genesimco.org page is the first hit (at the time that I wrote this). I have saved a screen shot of the portion of Google's cached page that mentions Sam, and I still have it open in a browser window in case you guys need more screen shots of other sections.

Sarcasm. Steve Has the Screenshots (so do I) I also saved the text from both versions (so far).

Steve's big contribution was:
1) The video wasn't abuse.
2) The arrest was true but, couldn't be confirmed out right.
3) The confirmation of the court date.


So, how the truth is cyber terrorism, cyber bullying, and a cyber smear is beyond me. Not trying to belittle his help just, showing the inaccuracies contained in the original "Fact Page."

I went to court in Millbrook tonight. There was a conference between the prosecutor, defense attorney, and judge, outside the courtroom. From what the Judge said on the bench, both the defense and prosecution still need to turn over various documents to each other and otherwise write or respond to various motions. The next court date is the evening of December 23rd, and it is likely that it will take the judge another month to respond in writing to these motions. (this is quite normal).

Gene was well dressed and appeared quite healthy.

The judge did bring up with me a particular post on this thread in which someone engaged in some monte python type humor, which when stripped of context could be perceived as threatening. I am going to remove that post from this thread, and caution the original poster. Please do not joke about anything involving violence on this thread. If you do I will punt you into the banned bin for a couple of months. If you want to argue do it with me via pm and not on this thread.

Like many of us said earlier, we are trying to keep it neutral. The fact it was removed before you went to court is good.

Kind of hard to say we are "allowing" a smear campaign when, things are being removed.

Sam is working hard to keep this site viewed in a seperate light of the other websites. Let's all keep this in mind when posting.
