I don't understand, we called the court yesterday and they told us it was on for yesterday. Unless, it happened earlier in the day.

Yeah but the answering machine specifically said that they hold court dates on Tuesday, starting at 7pm. I listened carefully. I think the more likely conclusion here is that, between this and the deleted posts on PJ, some people are using a little misdirection, no?

KrottyGuy (which was...who again?) posted about the Millbrook court date on the 30th--I didn't get a screenshot or text. That post has since been deleted.

So the PoJo is following this story in SOME fashion. Whether they're sending a reporter or not, I don't know. Why they're deleting valid leads, I don't know.

They say the checked, but if they did, why is the "court" giving them different information?

Ok so I just called the court again, and apparently the court last night was cancelled. I spoke to Shirley, who was at first reluctant to give out her name. I told her I was just trying to keep a record of who I spoke to, and she relented. She also told me that court is held EVERY TUESDAY, and that the FOURTH TUESDAY is DA Night (what that means I'm not sure). Apparently last night was called off because "The girl who usually does it had class." That is very strange to me, I don't know about anyone else. It's what she said verbatum.

When I asked about a court date for Eugene Simco, she replied that she didn't "...really like to give out that information..." but said that since court was cancelled last night, the next court date would be the 30th (implying that Gene is up on the 30th I guess???). I know one thing, my gut tells me they are reluctant to give out any information. There was a strained pause as soon as I said Simco's name.

No not at all Millbrook is a small town. You big city folks are used to things running the same way everyday.

Well, think about it, you called, Sam called, Mad_Mally called, 1point2 may have called, and we have no idea how many other people called from other forums. Plus, the shenanigans the Journal keeps pulling, who knows what reporters have called.

It doesn't surprise me at all.

Some of this will be moved after Sam's "the day has been moved" post and Gabes explnation. I'm going to wait a bit but, it is turning into a slight derail.

I wouldn't bother calling the court, 1point2, I think that's the extent of the info we are going to get out of them. I would LOVE to hear from the PJ exactly what they've been told, cause as of 9:45am EST today I have a verbal confirmation that Eugene Simco has a court date.

I just want to say that it's worth noting since we've had a confirmed court date, those coming to Simco's defense have seemed to disappeared from the thread.

im totally confused. i thought that sam browning confirmed that there was supposed to be court next week, which is why i didnt bother going, but then sam goes last night. if u know its next week, why go last night?

If you really read the thread you'd go.

I don't feel like finding all of the quotes. Basically, we have a paper editing/deleting posts, we have LEOs that have been allegedly hiding information on Simco, nothing on the Millbrook website says court isn't held this past Tuesday, and a few people have said that it is outright being hidden on purpose on other websites.


So, really, with all the subterfuge and different responses from the court itself, you have to go.

hey, i was browsing round on this thread and the nhbgear one and pojonews.com and noticed a couple of things, one that they say "man" accused ... alot

when i asked my parents who actually read this paper, they told me that pojo has a blurb printed that syas they dont print names of people if it is a misdemeanor. and when you look at the charges posted way back when on one of these pages or forums, somenoe says that these crimes are misdemeanor, not felony. so i dont know if thats why they might not be printing it and deleting posts bout it, but i was told that they probably wouldnt even if they had the info because of the level crime it is.
