I can't believe I bothered to post on that thread. It's the mental equivalent of driving into a brick wall.

You forgot to finish the sentence:...* but "flashy" moves can be used in a fight. ive seen people hit by 360's, 540's, 720's, etc....although they may not be the most effective, they do work in some situations.*

I'm wonder where the hell he has seen this

As I already told Shironinja privately, you have to take into consideration that the majority of the people on that forum are kids 10-18 (at the oldest) So don't look for too much indepth conversation on there.

Never saw a 720 in MK but maybe they got it from ryu's hurricane kick in street fighter.

From what I'm reading over there on their forum..we're not the only ones who raised the "people's eyebrow" at that show last night.

I just went back there. ~Heavy sigh~ It looks as though I need to spank one of the children aka "guest". I will post and let you all know later how it goes. Sad part is that I like XMA, I enjoy watching it, but little tykes like that one there just makes me want to bitch slap some of the players.

The people who got tagged with 360's/540's were probably so embarassed that they hit themselves in the forehead and were knocked out.

Oh, and from what I've seen of 540's if you don't hit the guy square on top of his head and compress his neck vertebrae, then you'll just end up with a separated ankle or knee. That's like saying a diving headbutt between someone's asscheeks "works in certain situations".
