He claims to have gotten his BB under Henzo gracie with an "H" in 2 years... You guys might wanna look in to this.

He was questioned by an nhb board member about his lineage today and he says he is a Renzo black belt by way of Mike Anderson.

The same board member is currently in Brazil and asked Rolles and Igor about him and Anderson and they had no idea who they were.

He also claims to be a pro fighter then later on his personal myspace says that he is looking for his first pro fight.

He is currenlty training swat and law enforcemnt officials in grappling.

I have searched google, OTM, and Sherdog and can find no grappling record or fight record.

Any help verifying his claims would be appreciated.

Nice work danielson! This guy is completely full of shit. His myspace also says he was over 300lbs when he was achieving this record setting pace of getting the bb from Renzo.

Did this Chris Van Valkenburg character take the stuff about his Henzo[sic] BB off his page because I still can't find it.

It's not on his page. I know a legit brown belt who went by his gym to check it out and schooled him royally. The "Henzo Gracie" thing was just a small part of the story he came back with. I just don't think it's cool to charge people for absolute crap disguised as a lie.

I'll second changing the thread title.

I'm not one with too much stomach or patience for research, but there are guys on here who live for that stuff and they should be on this like white on rice soon. I'm in his state, albeit a long long drive away, but I'll find time to pay him a visit in person if need be. Has anyone sent him an email or myspace message yet asking if he can provide more details?
