Get out of the way. Seriously. That or try to duck and shoot.

      What MrMcFu said.

      -Drop kick to supporting leg.
-Cut it off with your sword.
      -Rush in angled.

What MrMcFu and PizDoff said. Plus a takedown or a knifehand to the throat. Theres all kinds, high kicks are pretty risky.

Answer the phone. If you can't get out of the way, cock your hand back towards your ear, elbow up. It won't stop the kick completely, but it'll keep your head on your shoulders.

            Block it with your nose.

I have never been hit with a high roundhouse kick mainly because I always keep my hands up where they should be. Moving away and counterattacking are great strategies but as long as your hands are up high roundhouses should not pose any real danger. Low roundhouses on the other hand....

I've found that a hard high roundhouse will often blast through a defense. There is just too much torque and energy.

Keeping your guard up is a must of course. I like what Phrost said about answering the phone. Also, feeding your opponnent a steady diet of push kicks can help act as preventive medicine.

Clearly you know nothing of martial arts. Our statement should read:

"Hit his shin with your nose."

yes, i blocked a punch with my nose today. if i keep this up i'm going to end up getting busted up one of these days. maybe i should think about taking tai chi instead...

i heard about the answer the phone thing and also how it gets rocked sometimes if the guy's got power and iron shins.

i used to think fighting was awesome but i think i'm slowly realizing that sometimes it's more awesome to watch a beatdown on PPV than to be on the receiving end of one!

Duck and take out the supporting leg by the knee. But watch out for him trying to whip you with that gimp broken leg.

Like McFu said, a solid high roundhouse can bust through a guard. Your best bet is to duck, in my opinion/experience.

And on the Street (TM) you won't have gloves to help block.

                        Another one:
Duck his kick and squeeze his testicles.

reminds me of what jack dempsey told his wife after losing to gene tunney in 1926: "honey, i forgot to duck."

                            1) STOMP on his Support leg (attacking the Post)

                            2) Run in to him . Belly-Bump his ass . Think about it , where does a Bat hit Hardest ? The last three Inches . Get IN , and the Energy is Wasted . NTM that you Knock him Off-Balance .

Seriously , every Time I see ppl trying to deal with High Round Kicks by Backing Off & Covering , I WANT them to get Knocked out .
