Well, the Katsugo Ryu AikiJuJitsu is most liekly from Grandmaster Jospeh Torres. He is a known fraud in NY and is rumored to be very fond of young people. This is the only link I could find. Oh and I was one of his students until his overt friendliness and BS freaked me out.
The link is not much but it gives you a starting point where to make contact or email for info.

    http://www.tkdcenter.com/Aiki-Jujitsu.htm

(edit* I wrote rumored because I was told it could be considered libel without cooberating evidence but upon further discussion, since I was the victum he would have to disprove my claims)

(Edit* Overt friendliness and BS freaked me out = Grabbed my junk and told me a fucked up story about chi and mastubration)

I haven't read much but I two things immediately hit the BS meter.

      1) Working with the secret service. This is not something that just happens. You have to be employed by the government (military, NSA, Treasury, etc) and even then its a lenghty process. A co-worker of mine just got selected to work for SS and the process took months. He leaves at the start of the fiscal year and I will definitely ask him to look into this guy.

      2) He holds a 5th Dan in CQB (which is an old term that has been around the military for quite some time) TACTICS. If he created it why does he have a 5th Dan?
Word. I have a buddy in the Diplomatic service. No easy task to get in. Notice this guy claims to have worked "with" the SS, not worked "for" the SS. Big BS indicator. You don't just work with the SS....especially on a presidential detail as he claims...LOL Also, it is my understanding (I could be wrong) that it is the Diplomtic service that works with foreign dignitaries, not the secret service...at least not typically.

Regarding those photo galleries from the HOF, I found those too, but Hoenig is not in there.

I noticed that as well. I was trying to show the "ties of BS that binds"

The SS comes into play whenever the Pres or staff gets into play. Still "bodyguard" and "tactical driver" for Foreign diplomats under the SS is a crock of shit.

A search with " ask.com" on Master Julian Hoenig Martial arts, brings up some articles he has posted on different forums but does not indicate that he teaches or participates in anything meaningful. Some of the articles read like they were lifted from some book on the subject he happens to be espousing at the time. It also mentions "Bushidokan Dojos" a few times but he seems to have seperated from them. Searching for Bushidokan listings just brings up links for dojos all over the world.

              Right on the money, Asia.

I had a brief stint with the DoS as a contractor for about 5 years, and never saw the SS details unless the Prez or Vice Prez or a member of the Cabimet was around. The Diplomatic Service hands the details whenever 'guests" are about.

              This smells alot!!!!

This guy does give a lot of his MA lineage and what not, particularly re Goju.

As far as who Ived trained with......my 1st 2nd and 3rd dan in
okinawan goju was certified by master glen grabow, a student of both
Toguchi, and Shinjo, since the early 60's, when he trained with them
in Okinawa....my 1st and 2nd dan in USA/Urban goju came from
Grandmaster Ted Smith, and Master Alex Kirk, both students of
Urban.....my 4th dan with renshi title and my 5th dan in Okinawan
goju ryu was certified by Master Kirk, and subsequently recognized by
the Soke Grandmaster Jospeh Torres, founder of the Katsugo Ryu
Aikijujitsu organization, under which I also train....Grandmaster
Torres recently inducted me into the action martial arts magazine
black belt hall of fame in January of 2004......there is so much more
to tell about okinawan goju.....Ill be more than happy to try to
answer any of your questions.....hope this helps for now. :-)
                    ~Jules

                    -and later in same thread-

Master Kirk, btw, is also ranked in Okinawan Goju Ryu, as is
                    Master Smith
Where he seems terribly inconsistant is in regards to his Aikijitsu/Aikido qualifications.

He might just be smart enough to know that awarding himself a 5th Dan in his self-created martial art is less suspicious then awarding himself a 10th Dan.

Wow, I had no idea that he was that bad. I thought he was a bit suspect but there are so many things here.

The reason I think he is a teacher is because he calls himself 'Sensei' and 'Master' a lot. On some threads on the WSKO forum he got angry at someone who wouldn't address him as 'Master' (saying he'd worked hard to get the title and if you didn't call him it you were disrespecting his hard work). The thread was deleted by moderation I think because of bad language and things like that.

Also, if you browse his myspace page he lists "Martial Arts Instructor" under his occupation. So that indicates that he is teaching people.

It's very scarey because I was listening to him for a while. I wonder if anyone else has been taken in?

What was Jigoro Kano's rank in Kodokan Judo? What was Oyama's in Kyokushin Karate? What was Ueshiba's in Aikido? Thats right they didn't have one. They were immediately the highest ranking person in their art when they founded it.

                            I liked this...

                            from here Google Search

                            Speed is great
                            Power is great
BUT.....All the speed in the world will not produce power without PROPER TECHNIQUE

I used to do a demo with one of my black belt students called the one inch punch. For the record, he was 5'10", and 185 lbs.
I would place my fingertips on his chest, and with no retraction whatsoever, hit him hard enough to sit him down in a chair 5 feet behind him, and the chair had to be held so he wouldnt go flying over it.
Obviously, there was no speed involved in the strike, compared to a full length punch, but the proper technique was what caused the amount of power.

Exactly. I find it even more humerous that he gave himself a "Dan" rank in a military H2H stystem which he calims to have created but so obviously did not...LOL

Hey where did that 5th dan in Aikido and 5th dan in combat JJ come from all of a sudden. In other posts, he was saying he had passing experience with Aikido and a 1st dan in Combat JJ...

                                From 2004:

Different kinds of Goju Ryu, and AikiJujitsu, with some informal Aikido and Judo training.
                                and also in 2004:

                                Master Julian Hoenig

5th Dan, Renshi, Okinawan GoJu Ryu

What was the date of that post with the increased ranks? He went from informal training in Aikido to a 5th Dan and from a 1st dan to 5th dan in Combat JJ in just 2 or 3 years...LOL.

                                It never ends!
