Seeing as how this is not a great point of debate, nor is it of much consquence, I don't see why I did this. On this point I believe you, but I felt the need to double check.

Also, I figured that I could find a list with your name on it if I only found someone connected with Mr. Kirk, may he rest in peace. The logical place to look was to Ted Smith, but finding a way to reach him was no easy task, so I decided to see if I could contact his superior. To do this, I sent an e-mail to Pete Urban's daughter, the closest living relative and most easily reachable source regarding Mr. Urban and students.

Again, if you want to see why we're doing this, go on bullshido.com and look at the investigation we did on Sifu Wallace, a man who blatantly lied to his students to make more money. Check the thread about him to see some of his videos. Then you might appreciate what we're doing.

I still am at a loss as to why you feel my ranks are "BS" ? I was tested, graded, and given the ranks, just like anyone else.....Its really 3 arts, since the CQB system is more or less an amalgum of all I learned in the other arts that I studied. I mean really....what will it take ?....would showing you the certificates make ANY difference to you at all or are you just going to say that I made them myself ?

When David "Race" Bannon posed as an Interpol agent, wrote a book about it, and subsequently collected money as a consultant and guest lecturer, some posters on this very site (chiefly Sam Browning) called him on it. He was arrested in January of last year.

When Larry "Tiger" Klay stiffed his students in Lubbock and then moved to Dallas, padded his resume, and began to con a whole new set of students out of their money, posters on this website called him on it. His school closed down and many of his former students are now training with world class fighters like Carlos Machado and Travis Lutter.

There are others, Coda Scott, Robson Pereira, the list goes on. The common thread is fraudulent claims, and the relentless effort to expose them. I hope you'll agree that it's a laudable pursuit and one that benefits not only the potential students of unqualified instructors, but also the honestly skilled and experienced in the community who earned their ranks, and reputations, the hard way.

If your claims are genuine, that's badass. The time these guys spent investigating will be purely to your benefit. "Hey, Baby, of course I'm legit! Even those asshats at Bullshido say so, and they crawled up my ass with a microscope!"

If not, you might consider more honest ways to meet women. Besides, at your age, you'd probably be better off getting chicks from match.com rather than MySpace.

As has already been mentioned, a kumite/gong sau/deathmatch on the street isn't going to resolve anything. That's not to say they don't occur. Posters from this forum do, in fact, travel to meet opponents with more regularity than I've seen elsewhere. In this case though, it's specific claims, not fighting ability that is at issue.

However, as has also been mentioned, if you would like to meet some members, exchange ideas, and demonstrate your skill, you would, in all likelihood, be welcomed at any Throwdown you wish to attend. Members get together to spar or roll fairly often and I'm confident that one or more of them matching your size and experience level would be glad to meet you at such a venue.

Again, we appreciate our input and your willingness to participate on the forum.

Also, I'm very sorry for your loss. No one has so many friends that he can afford to loose even one.

To be fair I didn't get David Bannon arrested, but the Colorado Bureau of Investigation had disclosed me, and several other Bullshido posters as trial witnesses to testify against him. My report was provided to his defense lawyer as discoverable material. A couple weeks afterward Bannon pled out to a felony.

Had this been done right from the beginning, Im absolutely sure that this thread would be missing a lot of the negative aspects that have arisen from it.

Master Kirk is no longer alive to verify my claims, which he most certainly would if he were still with us. Im 40 (41 in October) I have been training since 1973. Is it really that hard to believe that Ive accomplished what I "claim" to have accomplished in nearly 34 years of training (17 of which were totally private as an Uchideshi) ? Still, I will try to come up with whatever more "proof" that I can, but I still have this nagging feeling that no matter what proof I come up with, there are those here who simply will not believe it. Ive given dates, names, and article locations, and still...not enough.....Im not really sure what else I can provide.

Generally pple who say "no matter what I provide you will still say its fake" tend to be the ones that did indeed exeggerate their claims or BSed all togther. If its all true then there are no worries. I have ALWAYS reported exact findings even if I don't like the whiny douche being investigated.

If you have had a chance to read through some of the lengthy investigations on our companion site "Bullshido.com" you will get the gist for the primary motivations behind this forum.

ALL investigations and articles on "Bullshido.com" MUST be well cited and supported by verifiable facts. As was stated earlier in this thread, anyone who was found to have doctored or altered any evidence provided by anyone who his trying to assist in an investigation would be swiftly dealt with by the forum STAFF, of which Asia is one.

I would recommend scanning and sending the certs as a ".pdf" as part of a private message (PM) to one of the Admins, I would suggest Samuel Browning. This is of course up to you, I am merely providing a suggestion.

You are correct in that some may say that the certs are fake. However, once you have voluntarily provided the certs, the burden of proof will fall on those who claim they are fake or that you doctored them. Honestly, doctored cert and rank awards are pretty easy to check on once you see the cert. so if they are valid, and given your explanations so far I see no reason why they wouldn't be, then you have nothing to worry about.

Hey all, I have not been here since day before yesterday. The storm we had in NYC area f'd with my internet connection. So much has gone on since then. In any event, I don't think honoring someone who has died is any kind of shield. regardless of whether we knew him or not, we know he existed, did good work with the SPCC in Hawaii, and a few kind words are not out of order.

Regardless of what one thinks of Julius, The 1st anniversary of the death of a loved on is always very tough. I have been though that...as as others here I am sure.

Julius, as I said before, the majority of people here are actually trying to verify your accounts, not the other way around. I know I always will view these threads from that point of view..that has been why I tried to look up the things I have and have posted what I have. Regarding posting proof, certs, etc. You have been very forthcoming in answering questions and that is appreciated by people here. You are correct...in the end, what does it really matter to you? Life will go on and you may not feel it is worth it. I would understand why you would abandon this thread. You are also correct that some people may dismiss them out of hand. I don't think most of us would dismiss them if they were posted...I know I would not. But, since you keep coming back, I can assume it does matter to you.

Thanks for answering my question about the Aikido rank. I also thank you for your answer about the 3rd dan rank in Katsugo Ryu AikiJujitsu. I understand you now say that this was a goju rank. But, why did you post prior on several other sites that it was Katsugo Ryu?

On a side note(not to derail this thread too much), this does not have anything to do with your credentials at all, but what are your thoughts on the NYS investigations and allegations reagrding the NY area SPCCs? There are some very serious abuses going on in the NY area SPCCs. As someone who has worked with them, what are your thoughts on this?
