What are the best three arts?

    1. What's the best grappling art (BJJ, Judo, etc.)?
    2. What's the best stand up fighting art (boxing, Muay Thai, etc.)?
    3. What's the best self defense art (Akido, Karate, etc.)?

    IMHO:
    1.BJJ
2.American/European Muay Thai (has better boxing skills)
    3.Krav Maga

      I can't decide!
      Actually,
      1. (grappling) Jujutsu
      2. (stand up fighting) If trained properly, Taijiquan
      3. (self defense) Tang Soo Do.

Actually I'm teaching BJJ at a Kung Fu school in Chandler, AZ and Tai Chi is pretty cool stuff!

It's helped my punching (boxing) power. I am more grounded when I punch and tend to dance around less!

Balloonknot, what's so funny? With those three styles I'm deadlier than the poisoniest cobra snake.

With my ninja training I've recieved from Great Grand Googley Moogley Master Rick Tew I take people out with my jacket, that's right, my jacket. You'll all be like "Nice Member's Only jacket" and then you'll be like "No! He blinded me with the zipper while swinging it whildy".

With Master Dillman's Pressure point method I'll knock you out and cause you severe pain, you'd just have to do me the favor of standing still and not fighting back while I found the pressure point. You'll tremble with fear as you stand there and listen to me say "Is that it..no...ok..how about this".

And then with my SCARS training I'll take you on in the urban jungles of combat, this training is so deadly that the Navy's Seals aren't actually allowed to use it due to the Geneva convention and UN war crimes laws. That's why they have to use guns instead, it's much more humane, but you my friend will not be so lucky..Kofi Annan won't be there to save you this time.

I wouldn't say that these are generally the "best" arts, but the ones I like:
                  1) Judo
                  2) Aikido
                  3) Aikido
But for arts I dont study:
                  1)BJJ
                  2)Kyokushin
                  3)Hsing I/ Ba Gua

                        1. BJJ (Big shocker there.)
                        2. Muay Thai (From its rep and results, I've never studied it.)
                        3. Firearms (But for unarmed MA I'd have to say MMA.)

                        Regards,
