where the fuck did you get that from? i was a member for under ten days, but i quickly quit because of the prices, and all what i heard.

Like I said before, just ignore Shadow Beast until he posts something of value. All his stupid shit just keeps us from talking about the crap that FSD is made of. Don't really know if Shadow Beast is a product of FSD or not, and I don't really care anymore. One thing is for sure and that is that he'd fit in with them well. Maybe he should have never quit.

In general some of you guys just can't handle that I asked you to back up what you were saying.

I conceided to your arguements once I had tried all mine out and one by one they were shot down.

However right from go I agreed with the high price complaint, extra necesary seminars, training camp and weapons class.

All I wanted was you to back up your claims that the self defense did'nt work.
Considering you guys are trying to bring down the FSD organisation that really is not to much to ask.

When I finally did admit that you guys were right (yes I did) the whole time, a couple of you like Askari acknowledged me. But even after my admission you guys still think I'm Sifu this or that.

Even though I now realize it was a rip off I still really enjoyed the classes and that is why FSD has been a sucess.
The classes are fun.
Not everybody wants to be an MMA warrior and you know what? That's OK.

No, not everyone want to be an MMA warrior. But people that go to martial arts classes expect to learn to defend themselves. If they are paying huge amounts of money for it, they ought to be having their expections fulfilled thru their training.

FSD isn't marketed as a good time. It's marketed as the Way of Survival. It's marketed as effective self-defence. Every technique seen on video is completely unrealistic, laughably so in most cases. Everyone who has left FSD and started elsewhere and come forward tell us that what they learned at Fang Shen Do is of little or no use. So marketing it as a self-defence art is lying to people. It's deceiving people and taking advantage of those who don't know better. That's wrong. It is plain immoral.
Strippers don't lie to you about what you are getting for your money.

I'm saying I paid money for something and even though it turns out I could have gotten it cheaper (and bettter as I'm told) some place else I still enjoyed the classes very much.
They were fun.
If you want to say I enjoyed being robbed, well go ahead. I understand why you are saying it.

But it seems that because I've never trained anywhere else you all know something I don't. I won't argue that because it's probably true.
However, I think I can defend myself. Maybe not as well as some of you warriors but for an average guy I'm fine. Even if you don't like the way FSD sparrs it sure taught me a hell of a lot.

I'm really looking forward to it actually. I miss training.

I'm torn however because I'm totally uninterested in getting in the ring. It's just not where my interests lay. But I do want a school that teaches a MA that does work for self defense.


But I won't ask for help or advice here noooo! I know better than that. God forbid somebody give a fella some good advice now that he's free from the evil clutches of FSD.
TKD Black was kind enough to recomend a school (Ronin) are you guys gonna break his balls because he did something positive for somebody?

Some of you guys are like the USA, you come into Vietnam (FSD) make a big fucking mess (students quit) and after you've had you fun you leave the innocents (students) holding the bag (where do I train now?).

without aliveness everything is futile... even your average guy self defence. Understand that even very basic self defence techniques require aliveness for you to be able to execute it effectively.
I don't say dead patterns are all bad, heck most of my kickboxing classes are dead patterns only i.e.: striking pads with predifinite combos, but I get the chance to have every friday 2 hours of completely open mat so I can do sparring.
my instructor knows about the importance of aliveness and that is why we have sparring classes for free (unlike fsd).
with the proper equipement, even eye jabs can be realisticly practiced, so don't complain about too deadly techniques too.
