Um. My first thought is...well, that's pretty stupid. Sijo responds to a body armour clad guy with Limp-wristed no-contact Palm Strike to spinning back kick. Wtf is wrong with this picture...surely he should be using a direct attack aimed for the throat or groin instead of the defensive padding? I thought this was the Way of Survival.

This being particularily convincing after already adopting a fighting stance.

To all disheartened FSD students- don't worry about the shit training, your hard earned dollars are being spent on b-movie horror flicks! So its not all a waste of money.

I think you knew this one was sent to me, but. Without further ado, here is the Heart Attack Close:

Does this make anyone else think of Tom Weeks?
Hi Runner, what do you think of the videos? We need to get your post count up so we can get those email lists to one of our resident spammers.
Just in case anyone wanted to photoshop:
Though after watching these videos, I dont think there is any doubt sJP was ripping off WCD, its just he could have done a better job of it.Last edited by Askari; 4/30/2006 7:26pm, .

What will TKD think?
What, am I all of a sudden your monkey? Am I the one who makes you laugh? Seirously, I'm hurt deep down inside.... oh, wait.... um.... shooting pain in my chest.... on the left side.... crushing like an elephant is sitting on my chest.... sharp pain in my left arm.... feeling week.....
HA ha! I fooled you! You all though I was having a heart attack didn't you? Huh? Be honest, you thought ol'TKD was done for. But like a tiger I leapt when you weren't expecting it and, um, stole you cab, that you had called for. Huh? Pretty Ninja-esque, eh?
Dear Jacques,
Well, how can I say this? I don't want to hurt your feelings or anything but um, well the term 'double fisting' well, it isn't really a martial arts friendly term. It um, well it belongs to maybe the porn industry a little more than it does you.
Sorry.
TKD
PS - Nice hair cut, really brings out your cheek bones, and the silk looks great on you. I like how you have your collar open, much more 'manly'.
Kisses!

Just found this board and have spent the last 3+ hours trying to read as much information as possible. I am an ex-FSD student. I joined a few years ago but left due to the price and the lack of serious training. Classes were high energy but with no real focused direction. I could arrive for a test and be asked to perform moves that I had never seen in class (which I attended regularly). I saw people pass tests with no real self-defense abilities. I saw blue sash students who were still confusing the most basic white sash moves.
The first three months you sign up you are treated like royalty. Every effort is made to keep you happy. Once you sign up for any longer you are pretty much ignored. I once asked an instructor "how can I improve my training at home?" to which he replied "join the BBC". I was told that was the best way to improve. I never signed up as I knew that was not an honest answer. That was truly when I realized I was being taken.
I do want to mention that there were a few very friendly, caring instructors who were nothing but helpful. People who really did care. Ozzy and Sifu Scott are two of those men. Also the gentleman Dan who had his school taken from him. They were always around to help.
From what I have heard and what I saw before I left it was quite apparent that the school was going downhill. Fewer and fewer high ranking students were coming to class. It would be rare to see a brown sash in class. I saw one black sash in my time.
A school can't survive like that. It will burn itself out. I hope the school doesn't see this as an attack on their system. I think the system can be a good self defense style. But it needs to be focused. Stop all the life style guru stuff that I've been reading about here. Stop charging so much for a workout and a wrist escape.
Every time a new student came in they would say "I would rank you 8 out of 10" I never saw a person come in for a free lesson NOT get ranked 8/10.
There was too much dishonesty. Too much ego and greed. That's not what a martial art is supposed to be about. Thanks for all the reliable information on this site. It just confirms everything I suspected.
