Women's self defense website...

I don't know if anyone else has looked at this but one of the members of the Bullshido group posted something about a website for women's self-defense she was creating.

Well I looked at the site and just thought I would share it since I did a search and could find nothing about it.

They seem to put too much emphasis on having fun rather than serious self defense training. They assume two things.
1) nut shots are fatal
2) the man has no clue what he's doing

still, not the worse I've seen.

They might overemphasize the fun, but really, how many women, and I'm not trying to stereotype the sexes here, but seriously, how many women would go to your "women's self defense" class if they saw sweaty men and women slamming each other on the ground, bringing forth a warrior's code, and all the other serious baggage that some styles carry with it?

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think the reality is that you're simply not going to get people to take self-defense or fighting to very high levels via serious training. People just aren't wired that way. But giving them confidence, or at least giving them something that encourages them to come through the door is better than nothing.

Man... It seems like their main technique is "hit the 'nads".

Really, what guy isn't used to that? Most guys have had other people taking shots at his nuts since the elementary school playground. We have gotten really good at protecting the family jewels.
