Although I do draw the line at training when it's actively doing me serious injury. I know how "training too hard" is all subjective, but when your training is actively doing you harm, you've got to stop. Sometimes we all need to go backwards in order to go forwards.
I had a few weeks where I was twisting ankles and pulling shins and ripping my hamstrings (which caused permanent damage) because I kept going back to training in a semi-injured state. It sucked. It was just one injury after another because I wasn't at my best and I was fucking up. Those were minor injuries that could have healed in days had I let them. I can't even begin to imagine what that must be like with a broken rib.
You have both my incredible respect and concern over your state of mental wellbeing.
