    The Symphonic Project

This article describes the development of the Symphonic Project that incorporates Wing Chun movements in contemporary dance.
    ...
Set to an eclectic mix of Drum and Bass, Swing and Hip Hop music, the piece is an exploration of the application of contemporary and post-modern choreographic devices to Wing Chun techniques and principles. The project was supported by written, practical and visual background information on the History, Principles and Practice of Wing Chun Kuen Kung Fu and Modern to Post-Modern Dance.
    And now the video:

Looks like hes tired of trying to explain wing chun to people who aren't interested. So he put it to music to keep their attention. To bad he sucks. :qtank:

              <sheepish> I used to train there... </sheepish>

Nobody in the video actually trains at the club. A local dance teacher asked to see some forms, and then choreographed a routine for some local teens. It's explained in the accompanying text.

This is the sort of thing that made me RUN from WC. Well, that, and the fact that many of them tend to be assholes.
