    I love boxing...and have a decent amount of experience w/ it...but this generalization is crap. Surely it's true in some cases.

    If they train the same amount of hours, both under very good instructors...I'll take a WC fighter over a boxer. Boxers don't know dick about kick defenses, and are esentially blind from the waist down.

    Funny you say this, as that's how it was specifically designed - a simple system that could be taught quickly.. Funny that 2 months of Boxing will place ANY person above 2 years of WC (equal physical virtues)

    Wing Chun inst about learning forms, its about practical application.

    Its a simple system you could learn all the forms in a month, but they would be of no practical use.
