*cough* Hey, I use the asterisks-to-indicate-action thing *cough* although it's mostly when I'm *coughing* in a pathetic attempt to drive across an otherwise obscure point *cough*

As with any art it all matters how good the person is! this guy sucks. I mean danm he just sets and watches the guy shoot on him! Also keep in mind not all Wing Chun is the same. I can tell you that 90% of it sucks! The system I train has a real rich history and does not restrict it's self to just kicks and punches. We do everything from long kicks to ground fighting. So I would have to agree 90% Of wing chun sucks! when it comes to real fighting! I personally do not consider that 90% wing chun. I call them the bastard childs of real wing chun!

"I can tell you that 90% of it sucks!" That's what so many WC/WT people say.

I hope more people can get the link to work...

wtf? how the hell did he get taken down that easily? Doesn't wing chun emphasize a lot on balance?

From my knowledge wing chun doesnt emphasize much on balance. Wing chun by itself isnt the best art but its a great to mix it with boxing and BJJ and Muay thai. Wing chun do have some useful techniques like intercepting and trapping, blocks and perhaps some unique lower leg blocks. Kyukoshin karate blocks would complement wing chun's blocks. I personally find JKD's usage of wing chun to be much more practical than any classical wing chun.

Gods, what a stupid fight!! Why was the wing chun barefoot? He didn't even try to hit the guy. Or manuever or anything. That is a problem with straight wing chun. As soon as it goes outside of the chest circle there's not much to do. I'm sorry, but this guy was fat and out of shape. Talk about fighting on stilks. He missed many techniques wing chun is known for. His gate was funny, his walking in like ozzy osborne was hysterical. SHARON!!! Easy pickings for a the other guy. Definatly a point fighting background.

Peedee and kungfools will NEVER face those they charge.
