    In his article entitled Is Judo the Answer to BJJ's Weakness?, frankdooks shares his thoughts on the blending of the two arts.

    In a fight I saw in the IFC, a JKD practitioner known as George Carson fought a BJJ/Judo guy(whose name I can't remember as he did'nt make an impact at all).
    Carson proceeded to brutalise the BJJ/Judo guy in the clinch, and despite the other guy's Judo experience found it incredibly difficult to take Carson down.
    Little Idea submitted MMA Myths with his take on Mixed Martial Arts and their uses on the Street:

    There seems to be this idea amoung some of the MMA faithful that the way to get 'skillz' is just put on the gloves and 'bang'. Will you learn some stuff? Sure. Will it make you tough? Yep. Is it the most efficient way to get skills? no f-ing way.
