You're on the right track. The plot to the original Star Wars film was based off of Akira Kurosawa's 'Hidden Fortress'. There's a copy at my dojo that I've been meaning to watch.

Holy shit this guy isn't lying. The shortest relationship I ever had was with a goth-girl. She was hella good looking, and barely wore any of that makeup shit. But Christ was she full of issues. After the first month I said the cliche "Look I think we need to seperate and you should work out your issues". She was fucking insane, but damn good looking.
