You know Te(v)plar that the Jedi was based off of Samurai culture and as we all know that Samurai were sword weilding knights of Justice........no wait Samurai were pompuos assholes who abused their power like anyone else......oh wait the Jedi did the samething hence why didn't trust them.

I would just like to point out that the best RPG for getting the truly
hot chicks is VtM (not that I have time to play anymore).
I can count at least 8 times I have scored solely because
of VtM.. and one of those was the best time I ever had without
hard drugs and multiple partners!

It well know that Lucas based the jedi on the samurai, one movie in particular, the "fortress" I think its called.
The whole sith waering black like the "ninja", the jedi, usinf lightsabers ala katana's.
And of course, the code...

I don't know, guys, their instructor has a pretty impressive background. He's been in the same room with a great point fighter and two great kick boxers. Surely it's a small step from there to Jedi.



Does anyone else remember the Microtech Blaze? Can't find it by Googling anymore, but it was a lightsaber-type knife with a 3.75" "blade." Short battery life, but a good cutter. Didn't open envelopes, though.

Microtech did a big official release statement on these on April 1st, 2000 with a very good explanation of how they worked. It sounds crazy, but a lot of us at Bladeforums really wondered a little bit, even on April Fool's Day. Maybe we wanted to believe.
