If so, case closed, unless further evidence presents,
And the resolution is that Saucido, like so many others before him, have falsely claimed they were promoted to the rank of black belt in BJJ.
Sorry, but what the does "affirming" mean? Does that script of paper mean Machado can't be a lying son of a bitch, especially when there's no legal repercussion for it? This is called "CYA".

That document is worthless. Oh shit, I'm in trouble...here's a note.

The real story is Saucido and what he's doing training kids (or unsuspecting adults, apparently under the impression he is a legit Machado BJJ black belt).

Since his business license predates his charges, I wonder if he ever had to tell anyone at the school what happened at all. I know his charges are related to a 30-year old woman...but something tells me the parents would like to know at the very least that a registered sexual predator runs that shop between East Side Tattoo and Amco Auto Insurance.

They could look it up themselves...I wonder how many have.

There should be a lot Saucido should not be doing especially in "Child Safety Zones" in Texas. http://billyskinnerlaw.com/Houston-C...s-do-in-texas/

It's entirely possible he's operating within the limitations of his court order, but I wonder.

If you want a clearer picture of what's within 100 yards of "Zen Fit", here you go.

Perspective can be a real bitch.

Ok, his bio was removed from the Zen Fit website, but I screen shotted all the yelp reviews talking about him teaching jiu jitsu. I'll post later.

People get older, and sometimes seniors and masters enter the adult division to bang heads with the best young bulls just to see how much thunder they still have left in them.

I have seen many GOAT candidates of their generation and weight class get old.

Many of the people that were the mat Gods or ring Gods when I was coming up the ranks now have 8 or 9 herniated discs, artificial hips, artificial knees, pain killer addictions, have brain injury problems, or they flat out died.

Middle age and old age for elite combat athletes is often a hard thing to watch.

Especially when they step back on the mats or in the ring that they helped define and are picked apart by lesser men - not that the list you provided are lesser men by any stretch.

But ask those men their opinion of Rigan as a mat man, especially in good physical condition, and I suspect that you will find they also tip their hat.
Or I could just watch video of him when he was in his thirties and losing to people roughly the same age.

Stop. I'm all for a lively discussion, but this damn Rigan is my hero shit needs to stop or move to another thread.

Yes, you think the guy is amazing and that's great, but cut it out in this thread. The rest of us need to stop baiting his easy to troll ass.

    Seems sloppy all around.
Public statements be damned, despite "hinky-ness"?
Also ...... do I need to point out the obvious of we can see their appearance in the pictures and time lines of the other people that are in the pictures to establish a good idea of when the pictures were taken?

When did The Academy in 90210 open for biz?

Paul Saucido can claim anything. Rigan may not even be aware of the claim. Rigan should be contacted and asked. His response or lack thereof will be very important.
Just want to point out, while some of you argue at this guy, he is the first one to say this before CPF appeared and started the "I remember back in the day blah blah blah blah" garbage. Now, I almost culled this thread because it is a serious topic. I'm glad I didn't because if you take off your anger hat or defense cap you can actually see precisely where it shifts. People stopped arguing about the promotion, they started arguing about his AFFILIATION and TIES with Rigan. So, now, we have a scrubbed website and a signed letter of zero promotion. Also, to the tired people. Not every investigation came down to digital forgeries. Honestly, those were actually small in the grand scheme of things. Still, go ahead and pretend Bullshido never used cached links, photos, seminar websites and emails when a Certificate wasn't available or was purposely not provided.

Exactly, and this is why it is fallacious. Being the greatest BJJ palyer in the world doesn't mean his actions cannot be questioned. It doesn't mean a white belt or someone in another "area of expertise" should not share their opinion. Saying it is possible his actions are questionable is no different than saying, "well, he may have gave him another chance because of religion." Yes, it is called giving a reason for your opinion.

My ENTIRE objection to many of W's posts is not his "I am going to believe he is innocent until he is proven guilty." It's why I didn't comment on the Black Belt promotion. I have read and witnessed enough so called fraud and lies be completely incorrect or a vendetta, to know better than to say "LOOK PROOF POSITIVE." As we have seen on Bullshido people wear Black belts, even legit BJJ players, in the wrong context all over this website. So, I can see Paul lying and self promoting without Rigan's knowledge. Hell, we had a.....nope huge derail. It is the entire "well, he is more versed than me therefore I will remain quiet, but I will passive aggressively call everyone wrong while I am waiting." This is why white Knight came up.

Bullshido.net has seen this sort of "self-destruct mode" engaged before.

This is SOP for "your dirty shit just got exposed."

So, it's possible Saucido's Zen Fit bio page contained the questionable claim for at least 2.5 years, if what he recorded on his LinkedIn page is actually true. BJJEE reported "Previous to his promotion he was seen wearing a two stripe brown belt in November of 2014."

Here's a theory (unsub): Rigan Machado's public disavowal in 2013 was a PR lie, as is his March 20th written statement; Rigan continued to hang with, train, and informally promoted Saucido to black belt by the end of November 2014, but probably told him to keep it under wraps; Saucido being the dominant-rapey type decided he needed to post about it publicly on his professional network and bio, hoping the Internet forgot, but the Internet never forgets. Rigan Machado, having now been caught in a series of lies, felt the need to produce an affidavit that would not stand up in court, simply based on the photographs presented.
I agree with your assessment, Rabbit. Good work.
