How close are you to Thetford? Iceman Richard Vince has a class at the Thetford Rec center, or at least he did when I lived there, has been a decade now, but you won't find much better, and he was always willing to help out kickboxers lookig for training.

That's a good place to start. You can also try searching the forums for threads started by JKid on the subject; he posted a full Muay Thai textbook in PDF format and I found it very useful.

Edit: Good God Peter, what's going on in your avatar?

It looks like a guy that got into a fight with a weights machine - invariably, the weights machine won.

              cheers guys

basically my lil local kickboxing club has shut down and i want to carry on training.
the association kickboxing syllabus is the biggest pile of crap you have ever seen (but they do give you free reign practically) and im trying to put my own together.

              just looking for pointers

Shumagorath - cheers, got the thai book - my mt coach has been looking for a copy for ages so im in his good books now.

Peter H - thetford would be a trek regularly. i have a good basic level, just need to keep stimulated with my training, routines etc

I'd say those be ring ropes.

I'm about to finish locking the Tarantula on Matrix (I'm in the red pants) from my only title defense as Xplosive Wrerstling's TV champ. It's the only pic I have of me acctually wrestling that does not involve a clown suit.

Oni - Richard is great, he is the former ISKA European Superheavy champ, and used to promote matches in England. I would come from Lakenheath on occasion to work out with him. If I hadn't moved back Stateside, I would have kept it up, but with airfare as it is now, you know...
