The funny thing with many of these conspiracy theory believers is that they're so skeptical of the "official sources" and their motives but don't question those of the "secret tell-all" crowd. No one could have a vested interest :20bux: in making people believe 911 was "an inside job", right? The government/military/media is filled with corrupt, crazy, Satanic illuminati supposedly but because someone disagrees with them it makes them pure as snow.

I also enjoy the "they don't want you to know" or "they threaten my/video producer X's life" lines you often hear. Really, they have the balls to kill thousands of innocent civilians in broad daylight -supposedly leaving evidence that can be picked up from an intensive search on youtube- and don't give a damn about human life, but they let people go around spouting the top seekret super mind blowing details.

I seriously fucking hate 9/11 truthers. I've had a few very loud arguments with these idiots, and frankly their shitty arguments have yet to prove anything other than their widespread fear of their own government, a strong desire to be told the truth by charismatic figures rather than exercising critical thinking, and a total lack of scientific education. How much more concrete evidence (poorly doctored photos aren't evidence, you crack-babies) do you fuckers need before you realise that the truth is that the WTC buildings were destroyed by terrorists using commercial airliners?

Popular Mechanics is a scientific journal. Not average journalism. Credibility, and lots of it, unlike Alex Jones and all the 9/11 "IT'S A TRAP!" bullshitters. That article was the work of a huge array of professionals and officials, not just some asshole staring at video footage until a smudge becomes something suspicious.

Occam's Razor would destroy most conspiracy theories, considering how incredibly unfeasible they are. "9/11 was an outside job, perpetrated by terrorists" or "9/11 was perpetrated under the awareness of hundreds of government officials, the airline companies, the security [if not the employees] of the WTC, the military, etc, and yet no one EVER said a single thing about it, despite hundreds, if not thousands of people being in the know, despite how literally impossible that is."

The other of course big claim in 9/11 truth-ism is that it'd simply be impossible to destroy the WTC by the obvious means. EG "STEEL DOESN'T MELT AT THAT TEMPERATURE!" Sure, but it loses a huge amount of structural integrity, meaning it can't carry the thousands of tons of concrete and metal it usually holds up. I think maybe you should learn some science before you say what is and isn't scientifically possible, Paranoid McJerk.

And fuck that 'debunking popular science' book. Any asshole can write a book, that doesn't make him right.

Maybe if someone has some webspace we can make a shitty site, put the fake document up, post links on various forums then remove the site.

Actually it was second hand smoke, and they corrected themselves once a conclusive study was completed... and there's a difference between recognizing the issues regarding climate change, and believing in Man-Bear-Pig. So uh, yeah, fuck you too.
