You are right. However the ability of them to permiate our society and be given equal billing as the legitimate press is. How many of the 10 million viewers (sheep) of these videos can articulate a sound argument, or exibit critical thinking? Recognize bias and judge primary sources, and evaluate the various threads of truth or angles that there may be. I'm not saying there is an absolute truth as to what happens, but why would someone not weigh the evidence, instead of picking the version that makes the best Tom Clancy movie?

The official story is the one that the government espouses - the one about how a specific group of terrorists hijacked planes, flew them into buildings and that the buildings collapsed as a direct result of the collision and the ensuing fires and that WTC 7 collapsed due to structural damage (not 100% sure on that one).

You haven't read the report have you? If you did what you posted is the initial pushed story. Once everything was collated that story wasn't pushed like it was in 2001-2002.
