A question of sleep in the military

A question of sleep in the military

Does anyone have information relating to the amount of sleep solders get while deployed? Both in barracks and multi day patrols would be useful.

May I ask why do you want to know this?

The reason I ask is because the answers given to you could be a major blow against OPSEC.

      Real sleep? I'd guess none.

      Just a guess.

Real soldiers sleep with one eye open.

Using military time traveling technology Soliders sleep 26 hours a day.

Last time I was deployed I got between 6 and 8 hours of sleep a night. Since I'm a flight crew member we're required to have at least 10 hours of down time before a flight. I also only worked on average 3 days a week and spent most of my free time hanging out at the local pool.

That ratio sounds like our president's vacation schedule.

The difference being that I can hear gunfire and there is a civil war going on just outside the gate.

                        http://www.rmaxinternational.com/home/

It's not really a martial art per say. It's biomechanical exercises, breathing exercises, and different training methods designed to enhance combat sports and physical fitness. At least that's what they advertise. I primarily train in BJJ and use the RMAX material as a preformance enhancement for BJJ.

Does it belong in your 'style' field?
