          70k.. i'm sure the 10k bump would be appreciated though.

          I think higher pay attracts better candidates.

          and there is evidence for me to base this opinion on.

            We have 2 main police forces in my home town, the city PD and a township PD. When officers get fired from the city PD for excessive force, sexual harassment, etc they get hired by the township PD. Guess which pays better.

            Pay isn't the issue, hiring practices are.

                  Turning a human rights issue in to a special interest issue.

                  Having a movement that earns millions possibly billions of dollars do absolutely nothing to fix the problem the apparently care about.

                  I mean what studies have they done?. Or changes implemented?. How are they working with the police to effect systemic change in the organization? Or how are they working to reduce black crime?

                  They are worse than world vision.

                    I think I get what you're saying but we're not taking about salaries were onto policing structure.

                    I don't know if that kind of redundancy is needed in your area or not. My conservative side tells me it's probably not.
