    I had an exploratory laparotomy one time. Hope they didn't leave any tools in there.

    My Ex went to MD school at LSU in NOLA. They had women who were trained to help new MD students do pelvic exams. The were actually trained on how to guide the MD students on how to do the exams.

    Seems like a better way to do things.

    Hey ladies,
    Apparently, and rather unbelievably,
    when you go in for medical procedures under anesthesia,
    the U.S. medical community has been having medical students performing pelvic exams on you without your consent or knowledge.
    I'd call that institutionalized assault and sexual assault,
    but what do I know....

    Medical schools and students are grappling with an unsettling practice: Performing pelvic exams on unconscious, non-consenting patients.
