Your place on the MA religion continuum

Where does your attitude toward martial arts fall on the religious continuum? Please choose the most appropriate category from the list below (or make up your own). And then, just for kicks, state your approach to religion in real life.

    FundamentalistFundamentalistCult member:Born-again:.

    Evangelistic:
*Ding dong* "Hello brother, have you heard about the word of Helio?"

Orthodox:Conservative:Reform:Spiritual: Your MA practice is an opportunity to learn more about yourself, and become a better, more balanced individual. Your chi is strong.

Pagan: Hard physical training is for those who have neither brains nor elixirs and secret chi kung practices.

    Agnostic:Atheist:Non-practicing:

Born-again. Did Kung Fu and TKD. Now I see the light...

Bit of political fundamentalist, too. False prophets must fall. All the no contact sparrers, all the gun defense in TKD people, all of them must be purged via triangle or knee to the face.

I hate agnostics. They are just a bunch of whiny pansies. "I don't know what's real!! You can't know either!! Waaa!!"

SBG has a real good approach. Possibly the best. How can you deny that?

Since everybody's mixing and matching, I guess I'm a Born-Again Conservative. I was previously guilty of TKD.

Former cult member, now an orthodox conservative (with some agnostic tendencies).

Was -- mystical, separatist Buddhist sectarian (ninja)

Now -- sometime-orthodox practitioner of the kali and muay thai branches. Reformed Shintoist judoka (and potential kendoka, depending on how badly driving to Dallas strains my gas tank).

Conservative- Ther really is little time in the day, though I try to sqeeze some in. There was a time when I was an Orthodox- couldn't stand to do Kata, just spar and drill. Now, since I leave in California, my mortgage seems to dictate everything.
