I still remember playing Streets Of Rage 2 for hours, and I haven't enjoyed a good beat'em up for years. The only one that could come close would be that Die Hard arcade game by SEGA, but it wasn't as fun as SOR2. And Dynamite Cop for Dreamcast sucked.

But I've regained hope for the human race again :D

LOL! At 0:22, I think he kicks a guy in the junk. And at 1:27, he kicks a dude so hard, he flies off into space.

The repetitive kneeing in the face reminds me of Double Dragon 2, one of my all-time favorite beat-em-ups.

Double Dragon 2... you are sooo showing your age. It was the cool fight game before Street Fighter II showed up.

Does anyone remember one of the original concepts for the street fighter I game that actually had punch pads on the game so the game would hit or kick relative to how hard you hit the pads?

Did anyone else see the book published about the same time that Double Dragon was popular where ashida kim named one of his little ninja moves the "Double Dragon stomp"? It was essentially the leaping stomp from the old Bruce Lee movie enter the dragon. Couldn't tell which he was trying to rip off, Bruce Lee or the video game or both.

Game looks awesome, aside from that weird dancing shit. Looks more like an action-RPG hybrid that a straight-up brawler though.

Edit: Though some parts of it look REALLY REALLY REALLY FUCKING GAY.
