    4 Megs or so
Lots of historical stuff there, if you want to skip over it go for it and get the instructional parts. I am not qualified to give an opinion about the techniques shown! :)

But it's written by Daniel Weng.

As far as content? I don't know, because I don't know any shuai chiao either. But I do know of Ch'ang's legacy, and what Weng did.

To the best of my knowlwdge he did.

He also knew Chang's wanted his organization (International Shuai Chiao Association) to flourish and show the world how his shuai chiao was the best. Weng, along with others splintered off after his death and formed their own groups.

              "Invincible imperial wrestling guards"?

A while ago there someone mentioned the indian kushti wrestling. I googled it and found that there were kushti clubs at several universities in the US and that the sport looks just like modern submission wrestling.
Has anyone seen these older styles represented in today's grappling events like NAGA and such?

Ok, I've read some of the book (pdf) and I have to say it looks pretty good. I don't know how much of it is traditional Shuai Chiao and all, but the techniques presented would definately work. And from what little Shuai Chiao footage I've seen, it seems pretty legit to me.

Sounds interesting enough to take a look.

                  Thanks Pizdoff.
