The holy grail of martial commercialism, TSK, will be on David Letterman next week.

Hehe, I'll have to watch that. I wanna see some grappling classes!

Sounds like it could be alright. I happen to like Rupert G anyway. Hopefully they don't pussify it (as TSK marketing tends to).

This makes me sad though, because I've been sick for at least 3 weeks now and haven't been able to go grapple at all during that period. Damn...just when I thought I had made a major improvement. Go away you damn flu!

Well, I don't have a TV. I'd be really appreciative if someone describes it.

...Rupert goes to TSK (Manhattan)...asks for black belt but gets white...plays attacks shihan with knife...walks into bag training session and asks if anyone wants a piece of him...young girl takes him to the ground and armbars him...decides he likes grappling with girl and asks for rematch...girls armbars him again...decides to walk down street wearing white belt and tries to pick a fight with 95 year old man...end of skit.

It is not exactly TSK at its best, but you know they just LOVE the publicity on national TV.

Funny stuff. Rupert has this goofy look and keeps giving the camera eyebrows and a big smile whenever grappling with this girl. Basically a bunch of "haha grappling looks naughty" jokes. Also he asks the shihan if the karate kids is gay (cut to the clip where he is celebrating his birthday with mr miyagi (sp?) The skit ends with Rupert breaking a board.

This makes buying official TSK boards and patches every thirty seconds seem so much more worth while, don't it?

That's pretty funny. It's a paradoy of old ads which can be found on TSK.com - some of which are pretty funny in their own right.
