    Whatever that may be .

I have a feeling the Iranians will take care of him themselves to avoid the consequences.
Nah. This blood vendetta thing thrives in Iran. It's an enormous part of their ruling regime's ideology.

Remember what they did the Salmon(sp?) Rushdie? Same thing.

Saddam put a price on GHW's head.

Rather than take a rash action now, I think the better move is to wait for an opportunity to end him without making him a martyr.

On the same token, I also think if we managed to pressure their own government to silence him on the subject it would create a lot of resentment toward Khameini and be a win/win.

Launching missiles into Iran or Iraq only helps extend the conflict with military means. That is supposed to be something the US is moving away from, at least with Iran.

Almost all US warfare towards Iran over the last 40 years has ended poorly for us. That includes Stuxnet, which practically birthed the Iranian Cyber Army and made Iran one of the biggest players at that table.

Of course the militia that launched these are mere proxies of the Iranian regime. This is a clear signal they're going to keep this up indefinitely.

Influential elements in the Iraqi government are complicit in this as well. I'm starting to think war in the short term may be inevitable but the conditions are pure shit. Having the Kurds on our side sure would be fucking nice right about now.

I feel like nukes are a viable option. Seriously like the only real reason we are even in that shithole is for the oil, but the thing is oil can be pumped from a glass parking lot just as easy. The zealots that live there will never stop attacking us even if we did leave so why not just ICBM the fuck outa that entire region??

The black rain would definitely solve Oceania's AGW-induced water crisis.

On another note, so much for the White House' absurd "they're not really trying to hurt people" rhetoric.

But, but....he knows more than the generals, and the medics too I guess.

“I heard they had headaches,” Mr. Trump said at a news conference in Davos, Switzerland. “No, I don’t consider them very serious injuries, relative to other injuries that I’ve seen.”

The quote has to be fake news, there's no way Trump used the word relative in a sentence that didn't include something regarding a family member and even then I would have my doubts.

i would have to see the medical records to know for sure, but it's possible that they didn't know they had a TBI initially. They could have all went to sleep and woke up with migraines. Then after further testing they determined it was a possibility of TBI. They could also be saying TBI whereas it is really post concussive syndrome/TBI. But TBI sounds better than concussion in the news. Which would also mean that it is possible these vets will have no further symptoms or complications from this incident.

Trump may have just not been told the second part of the scenario.

Generous application of TBI protocol is pretty standard for indirect fire. DoD errs on the side of caution with TBI now, but it takes time for people to self report.

As far as what the Iranians intended, it is hard to say. They warned the Iraqi govt ahead of time, which means they warned the USG ahead of time. But shelter in place protocols have a funny way of being reactive, so who knows. Not sure it is exactly a smoking gun proving anything other than Trump runs his mouth without all the facts.

                              Still worth it.

Look, quit being a media Shill. Trump’s speaking idiocy is just like Dan Quayle. He says dumb shit, deal with it. It’s all over this website, he wouldn’t be news if he STFU and stuck to the script. Still, that isn’t him and he should say what he likes.
