The Iraqi protest was not an act of war by legal definition, even if it's coordinated/enflamed by Iran. It was an angry mob, just like in the 70s. It was citizens with rocks and Molotov cocktails, which is why those Apaches were so careful.

The rocket attacks on K1 that partially led to the go for drone strike were also not state acts of war. Even if US citizen died.

This is why terrorism is Iran's most powerful weapon. They don't have to go on the offensive themselves. They just find our other enemies and arm them. The US has done the same for eons, too, because it works a lot of the time.

This is extremely unlikely according to Intel and proliferation experts, unless by purchase. And those kinds of transfers are heavily monitored.

It's only within the last few years that any rogue nation has become nuclear armed. It just wasn't a thing until the DPRK pulled it off.

It's unlikely NK could sell nukes to Iran without somebody noticing. Russia could have sold them for years but have not. But it's not impossible.
