Remember there is still a fatwa against the use of nuclear weapons. But I take all fatwas with a grain of salt. I have to remind myself the Catholic Church officially prohibits buggering altar boys, too.

They will hand over weaponized uranium to 3rd parties as soon as they have it. And then comes the potential era of proxy nuclear war. And yes, that should scare everyone.
Here's my prediction now: Iran just bought plutonium from North Korea and has a nuke ready to go. They're poking the bear in hopes of getting us to send a carrier group right to them where they can airburst the fucker.

          Why not Israel ?

Oh, those Palestinians they love so much, yeah...

That would be the end of Iran as we know it, seriously.

Good thinking on your part, though.

I have assumed that Iran has had nuclear weapons for years.

              Well, yes and no.

The Iraqi protest was not an act of war by legal definition, even if it's coordinated/enflamed by Iran. It was an angry mob, just like in the 70s. It was citizens with rocks and Molotov cocktails, which is why those Apaches were so careful.

The rocket attacks on K1 that partially led to the go for drone strike were also not state acts of war. Even if US citizen died.

This is why terrorism is Iran's most powerful weapon. They don't have to go on the offensive themselves. They just find our other enemies and arm them. The US has done the same for eons, too, because it works a lot of the time.

Well, the USS Abraham Lincoln is heading back now, so they're clear.

You'd think they'd have known better so I'm just going to assume the story is bogus. What dingus thought waving red meat in front of a hungry dog was a good idea?

This is extremely unlikely according to Intel and proliferation experts, unless by purchase. And those kinds of transfers are heavily monitored.

It's only within the last few years that any rogue nation has become nuclear armed. It just wasn't a thing until the DPRK pulled it off.

It's unlikely NK could sell nukes to Iran without somebody noticing. Russia could have sold them for years but have not. But it's not impossible.

The issue isn't so much that the NYT is biased, it's that they'll print anything a high ranked source tells them even if it's misinformation. Remember that "letter" from the supposed never Trump conservative hidden somwhere in Trump's administration? I have a sneaking suspicion that was planted for Trump's benefit.

Everyone talks about restarting the draft when this shit happens but it's not going to happen. Even if all out war broke out, we have enough volunteer people to handle it.

Well, that would be the end of NK and Iran. And maybe the end of Mecca too.
