Yeah but China also has more prostitutes per capita than any other country IIRC. If not, they're definitely in the running.

He does exist. His name is Josh Ray Person, he runs a software development star up in Kansas City. So far not a Senator, but maybe you could talk him into it.

What y'all are missing is that traditionally diplomatic talks are considered off limits for this shit. If the Iraqi PM is telling the truth we absolutely just committed an act of war.

There is also a shortage of women in China. One child policy left many infant girls dead. Particularly in the agricultural areas.

I mean I am not sure that is exactly the same thing, as I have never had to pay for it(well we all have had to pay for it but not in that direct of a manner), I am not opposed to paying for it in a direct manner.
Just that sort of deal never seemed to be worth while given the numerous free options that are around.
At any rate the point being..... I don't have a point

What you are missing is everything in this article:

Also that attacking an embassy in a declaration of war.

What you're missing is an overt act of war on Iran's part.

Why do you think the President played his ace card when he did?

BKR posted that link in the embassy attack thread. I pointed it out to ghost again this morning. He hasn't commented. Doesn't fit his preconceived narrative.

                    edit to add

Rabbi, do you see this playing into your own country's political battle in any significant way?

But this has always been the way of it, among States, and Princes, and the struggles for Power and Position.

Be part of violent action against the territory of another sovereign State, particularly a powerful, well armed, and well financed State,

and you remain on the field, exposed, at your own peril.
Now I don't understand you, man.

You're anti-War to the point of praising Trump's dove-speak but the second he escalates a decision by bumping off their #2 guy you're all in like this is the best thing ever.

I do not believe that Trump is interested in peace, in any way. I believe he sees this as a winning (edit: propaganda) gambit, especially if he can provoke them into striking the US directly in a high profile way. I also believe his little threat to strike 52 Iranian targets, including cultural centers is actually a direct dare for them to strike US cultural centers.

By making those threats, now US cultural centers are fair game to the enemy. I believe he's doing whatever he can to make this a war of extinction (edit: or at least look like one for his own political benefit). He's an irresponsible selfish and stupid piece of shit and this is just more of the same.

He's not defending America, he sounds like he's chomping at the bit to provoke mass casualty reaction against the US.

Iran pledges death to America on the daily. They're the perfect dupes because they're literally asking for it just like Saddam was.

Remember when Saddam fired that rifle at a propaganda rally about a year before the invasion?

This is about the same with the same justifications as last time only Trump came into office promising a stop to endless wars, had an arms treaty with Iran (iffy as it was), but somehow wound up on the preface of another no-exit-plan war.

I don't believe that Trump cares either way, as long as he looks tough for the camera. It may be that we actually do need to put a stop to Khomeini's regime now before it gets worse. I just don't trust Trump to execute that plan without making the problem worse because his rhetoric sounds like that of a petulant teenager.

Remember, he spent all this time disinfranchising our allies in Europe and abroad and NOW he's threatening to unilaterally start a war.

I couldn't think of a worse possible wartime leader than Donald J Trump.

If Iran threatened to strike 52 culturally significant American targets, it wouldn't scare us, it would enrage us and only serve to strengthen our resolve.

These kinds of things don't work the way that they look on the surface. I don't think Trump is smart enough to figure that out but I think the voices whispering in his ear know full well what kind of reaction such threats bring and that he can understand such a simple concept if it's explained to him nice and slow.

                                Of course not.

I do not oppose military action against Iran. I just oppose it being handled by Orange Julius Caesar.
