And while all 172 or so representative's who were present voted in favor, nearly 160 reps refused to even show up for the vote. So yes, the Shia majority who wants the U.S. gone so they can openly ally with Iran (as opposed to taking money and favors "secretly" in return for stuff like this) and then probably commit genocide against Kurds and Sunni Iraqis did do that.

As to the original topic: No to invading Iran. Iran has been in a proxy war with us since they kicked us out though, so good luck not being at war with them.

Was the drone strike a good idea: Who knows. Iran's economy is in bad shape, and they are increasingly desperate. I think overall it was a very measured response. Trump could probably calm down his saber rattling and let the strike speak for itself.

Why is Europe mad about this: Because they are cowards who would rather complain than do anything, and they don't like Trump. They are the world government equivalent to the first lady where they do lots of feel good crap, photo ops, and try to raise awareness to causes. And also try to force the U.S. to bankroll climate change agreements and tank our economy by rendering it noncompetitive. They are probably also worried about being targeted for retribution, since Iran has decided this means they should put even more effort into targeting westerners for kidnapping and assassination.
