Bnet has been like this before you left. Goodlun, even with his irritating spelling errors, has informational posts whether I agree with him or not. Like many others, if he feels a poster is a waste of time the one liners and lack of response occurs.

My willingness to argue the fact that people give the CIA far too much credit for the revolution in Iran isn't an endorsement for going to war in Iran, not is it particularly an endorsement for the CIAs activities.

Part of adulting is to be able to look at things from another person's or group's point of view, hopefully as much in context as possible.
